I am convinced that doing 10 minutes of exercise every day is better than 1 hour per week.

And I'm going to prove it to you!

Let’s take the example of my client, P.

P is a busy man. He knew he wasn't moving enough, but he wanted to start small.

We met for a 1-hour yoga class so I could see what he needed. Then I created a 10-minute routine he could do on his own.

After a couple of weeks, he told me that because he gets up a bit earlier to do this routine, he goes to bed earlier.

And since he goes to bed earlier, he eats a lighter dinner and doesn’t snack mindlessly.

During the rest of the day, he feels better because he moved in the morning. And since he started the day doing something good for his health, he’s less tempted to take decisions that go against this trend.

✨ Bonus: when you move in the morning, you get rid of the tightness that accumulated during the night. If you don't, the tightness settles night after night. (I explain this in more detail in this article: Fascia – and why you feel even less flexible in the morning)

So I’d argue that he also gains more flexibility overall.

The impact of 10 tiny minutes on his daily life is huge.

If instead he did a full hour every week, it would be much better than nothing, of course. But it wouldn't have such an impact on his well-being.
